Admission Arrangements 2025 – 2026
There is a requirement for our Trust, which is its own admissions authority, to publish its admission arrangements. These are available to download below for each school that forms part of the Ascend Learning Trust.
Consultation on Proposed Admissions Arrangements
In accordance with the School Admission Code 2021, the Ascend Learning Trust (ALT) is consulting on the admission arrangements (for all schools within the trust) for entry in September 2026/2027.
The consultation will be held between Wednesday 18th December 2024 and Friday 31st January 2025.
Please see below the proposed admission arrangements for 2026-27 for our schools.
The main changes are detailed below.
Kingsbury Green Academy
- Alignment of the admissions policy with all other ALT schools.
Lawn Manor Academy
- Alignment of the admissions policy with all other ALT schools.
- Inclusion of Badbury Park Primary School as a named feeder school in the over subscription criteria.
Noremarsh Junior School
- Alignment of the admissions policy with all other ALT schools.
Royal Wootton Bassett Academy
- Alignment of the admissions policy with all other ALT schools.
The Wellington Academy
- Alignment of the admissions policy with all other ALT schools.
- Removal of the admission arrangements for boarding facilities due to the closure of this provision.
Wellington Eagles Primary Academy
- Alignment of the admissions policy with all other ALT schools.
- Reduction in the published admission number from 60 to 30.
Wellington Lions Primary Academy
- Alignment of the admissions policy with all other ALT schools.
- Reduction in the published admission number from 60 to 30.
Catchment Areas
As the admitting authority, the Ascend Learning Trust must also consult on proposed changes to school catchment areas.
We are proposing catchment areas changes for the following schools:
Wellington Eagles Primary Academy – in light of new housing at Drummond Park, Ludgershall.
Wellington Lions Primary Academy

Appeals
Ascend Learning Trust follows the statuory guidance regarding admission appeals which is laid out in the School Admissions Appeals Code.
