Wellington Lions Primary Academy

The academy, which enjoys wonderful facilities in new purpose-built accommodation, opened in Tidworth in 2014 and is situated in the heart of the community it serves. It has grown in size each year and caters for pupils from Reception to Year 6, with an on-site nursery for 2–4-year-olds.

Wellington Lions Primary Academy prides itself on the pastoral support it offers its pupils and families, many of whom are service families based in the community. With a curriculum that focuses on their PRIDE values, wrap around care, a variety of after school clubs and a wealth of enrichment opportunities on offer, Wellington Lions is a fun and exciting place to learn.

Wellington Lions has benefited greatly from joining the Ascend Learning Trust, with greater collaboration with other academies in the Trust enabling the academy to move from a period of growth and development to the next phase in its journey.
