Lawn Manor Academy

Lawn Manor takes its name from the 18th century Tudor Mansion of the Goddard family, as the school sits on the land of the house which was demolished in 1952 after falling into disrepair. The school logo was designed using the shape of the sunken Italian garden on the Lawn Manor Estate.

Lawn Manor, led by Head teacher Sandra Muir, is an all-ability Academy for 11–16 year-olds, where the emphasis is placed on inclusive education. A developed and rounded curriculum to suit children of all abilities with excellent facilities support this aim. The Head teacher is determined to lead Lawn Manor in making it an excellent school that inspires all pupils to be the best that they can be.

The Leadership Team, together with the staff of Lawn Manor, strive to maximise the potential of each person within the school community and are absolutely committed to continuous improvement through an excellent pastoral care system that supports all pupils. They take pride in the individual focus that is given to each child and how they help them to develop and grow to achieve well and be good citizens.
