Wellington Eagles Primary Academy
Wellington Eagles Primary Academy is a brand-new academy that opened as a one form entry primary school in 2019. Alongside its partner school, Wellington Lions Primary Academy, it joined the Ascend Learning Trust in April 2020.
Eagles moved into its new state of the art, purpose-built accommodation in Ludgershall in November 2020, offering places from Reception to Year 6, with a nursery for 2–4-year-olds. Eagles was opened to meet the demand for places in the local area due to the rebasing of military families and prides itself on meeting the needs of all its service families and that of the local community. Conveniently located opposite The Wellington Academy, it enjoys close links with the secondary academy, sharing facilities and specialist teachers.
Eagles is a warm and welcoming environment to learn in, providing a creative approach to teaching, which focuses on 'The Curious Child' and meets the differing needs of all its pupils through support from a dedicated Inclusion team. Wellington Eagles provides a rich programme of enrichment activities, through Children's University and has wrap around care, after school clubs and great outdoor facilities, all of which ensure it is a fun and exciting place for pupils to learn.
