Hilary has been teaching for 20 years.  During that time, she has taught all year groups in the primary age phase as straight and mixed year groups, Hilary led everything from ICT to music, English and DT.Having worked in junior schools, primary schools, 3 class village schools to 3 form entry junior school, Hilary has undertaken many leadership roles such as Assistant Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, with Noremarsh being her third Headteacher role.

Her many experiences as a head and as a mum have led to Hilary becoming skilled in the areas of SEND and SEMH and she is very passionate about both.  Being dyslexic Hilary did not find school easy, she was told she could not train to be a teacher as a dyslexic and failed to get into university the first-time round. These challenges have given Hilary real determination to make school accessible to all, a place we can all belong, be understood, and succeed.
