As Head Teacher, I am very proud of our children, staff and community. Everybody working together to be the best they can be’ is at the heart of everything we do, alongside our dedicated staff who are passionate about providing our children with enriching and exciting experiences. We actively encourage our pupils to show perseverance, respect, independence and to be daring and believe that this supports them on their journey to becoming life-long learners.

Wellington Lions Primary Academy first opened its doors in 2014 and therefore benefits from a modern campus. Children have access to large, purpose-built classrooms and a variety of different resources inside and outside of the school which enable them to get the most out of their learning. The school also has strong links with the military due to the large military community situated in Tidworth. We are proud of the links we have fostered with the military community and aim to support our military families as much as possible.

Wellington Lions is a member of the Ascend Learning Trust and is linked with Wellington Eagles Primary Academy, Noremarsh Junior School and several other secondary schools. By working in partnership, we are able to share a wealth of expertise and experience.
