Peter Sharp - Trustee
Peter has taught in maintained and independent schools, including as Director of Teaching & Learning and Deputy Head (Academic) at a London boarding school. Peter is currently a Chair of Governors for a secondary maintained school in South West London.
In 2021, Peter stepped down from his full-time leadership role to support schools in their continuous improvement. Peter is now working with schools directly and for a number of different agencies, as well as being an inspector with the Independent Schools Inspectorate. He continues to work with young people, supporting those from disadvantaged backgrounds in applying for STEM subjects at university. Peter is also a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award assessor and working regularly with young people in the outdoors. With a wide experience in education, Peter brings an abundance of knowledge that will help Ascend Learning Trust .
